In this video, you can see some of our cats that I temporarily moved from my mother’s house to another home I rented for them because she has guests staying with her this summer. I don’t like these guests because they hate cats, and they criticize me for spending my time and money caring for them.
My longtime followers also know that I have another rented apartment with more cats and kittens, as well as a small shelter I built years ago where more cats are living. All of these cats depend on me for food and care. If I leave them on the streets here, I truly believe many of them would die within days. I see dead cats almost every day—some hit by cars, others poisoned. This is a painful reality I rarely share because I know it would be heartbreaking for many of you. But at least we have saved many lives, and most of these cats have been safe with me for years.
Taking care of all of this alone is extremely difficult, both physically and emotionally, especially while dealing with my own health problems. This week, I developed a constant pulsating sound in my left ear, like a pump beating inside my head, along with severe pain and dizziness. I have seen many doctors before, but no one has been able to help. Now I may need a full brain MRI to find the cause, especially because I also hear clicking in the same ear whenever I chew. The noise has become so overwhelming that I can barely sleep, and sometimes it makes me cry, especially when it comes on top of the stress of caring for all these cats.
Right now, I cannot afford the medical care I need. I may need $800–$1,000, which is far beyond what I can manage, so for now I can only leave things in God’s hands and hope for a miracle.
I am not sharing this to ask for financial help for myself. All I ask is that you continue supporting the cats, even with a small amount, so I can keep buying their food and supplies and reduce some of the pressure. And please forgive me if I haven’t been posting much lately. What I’m going through is not easy, and I have no one beside me to talk to or who truly understands what I’m carrying. My mother is busy with her guests, and I’m alone with the cats in the new house. Sometimes I take medication just to be able to sleep and escape the constant overthinking and anxiety.
