A few weeks ago, I found myself buried under a mountain of expenses. Several rescued cats needed urgent veterinary care, some had to stay at the clinic for days, and with all the food, litter, and daily needs, the bills piled up faster than I could handle. Donations weren’t enough, and even my salary couldn’t cover it all. I was exhausted physically, emotionally, and mentally. Taking care of cats isn’t just about money; it’s about cleaning, carrying, searching for the missing ones, and facing heartbreak when one of them doesn’t make it. The weight of it all finally broke me, and I decided to stop. I even announced in a video that I was stepping away.
But then something incredible happened. Some amazing people, real angels in human form, came forward and helped me pay off every single debt. Their kindness felt like a miracle sent by God. Because of them, I was able to clear all my debts and cover all the veterinary bills. I don’t think I’ll ever find the right words to thank them enough. What they did brought back that old spark inside me, the same energy that made me start rescuing in the first place. It reminded me why I do this, and that there is still so much good in this world.
Thanks to them, I’m back on my feet and full of hope again. We didn’t stop, and we won’t stop. Younes Cats is here to stay, continuing to rescue and care for our furry little friends — one life at a time.
